Log: weather

This weather is rather odd. There was this loud crack sound and suddenly my lightbulbs shut off, as well as the TV and the computer. No matter how many times I flipped that lever, the lightbulbs would not light up again.

Maric, our conversation was cut short from this odd problem and thankfully the lightbulbs light up today. I do hope that your apartment hasn't flooded. And be careful! The forecast for your area is rather ominous.

It sounds as though you and I had a similar experience. I did have the same thing happen, although I believe I was more likely to stay in one place until the lights came back on. Next time it'd do me well to remember I'm sure I have another light source somewhere here.

I'm definitely alright, although after stepping outside and getting ravaged by rainfall was not exactly a pleasant wakeup call.

I didn't even think of double checking. I should do that as well. Of course, I also think it would be so much safer if people just didn't go wander about. That doesn't seem possible, though, so... I guess it wouldn't be. I'm hoping for the best.

That's not exactly plausible. Although I did check before I headed downstairs and then the skies just opened up and dropped a lake-ful of water.

I would recommend not going outside until this storm blows over. It's just too dangerous outside.
