Log: sickness, weather, and such

Going out in the rain last week was definitely not a good plan. When I headed downstairs, it was clear, but when I got outside, the skies opened up and dumped an entire lake upon me. And so now I'm sick. I don't ever remember being sick before. I suppose I've always relied on healers to help out with that, as leading an army just doesn't happen when one is sick. I wish Riff or Ellise were here. They'd know how to knock this thing. And Lady Ellise, thank you so much for the chamomile tea. It's helping, although I'm still rather sick. Hmm I wonder if there are any healers here?

I do hope this weather clears up, too. I have commissions to work on, and I really do want to spend time with Maric. I'd like to go to the theater. Maybe it's something we can introduce to Akanea as a peaceful pasttime so history won't repeat itself again and the Continent can finally have some peace.

I also need to clean my dark blue formal blouse since it got soaked when I left my window open, especially if that dinner party occurs. I do hope that's still happening. I do like to meet new people. Lady Eirika, any word on that?

I'm not sure if you can get to a store over there, but someone in the building should have some medicine you can use. Something that also makes you sleep would probably be best. Drink a lot of fluids, too, and get a good amount of rest.

The weather outside is just horrendous, but I'll check with fellow apartment residents to see if anyone has a medicine for this, a vulnerary even. Thank you for your wisdom.

Where did--- Oh my, I did. I'm glad you do not take offense to such a typographical error. Seems sickness causes one to mis-type. I've never really been sick to know what it can do. You wouldn't happen to know a healer here or be carrying vulnerary, would you?
